About this calculator

This calculator works out statutory holiday entitlement and holiday pay under the UK rules it supports. It shows the arithmetic behind each answer, needs no account, and performs the calculation in your browser.

Method and sources

The calculations follow published GOV.UK and Acas guidance. The methodology page gives the formulas, worked examples, jurisdiction limits, rounding rules and links to the official sources.

Limitations

This is general information, not legal advice. It does not interpret individual contracts, calculate contractual enhancements, or cover every sector-specific scheme. The separate 12.07% method is limited to eligible irregular-hours and part-year workers in Great Britain; it is not presented as a rule for every worker or for Northern Ireland.

Corrections

A reported calculation issue is checked against the cited official guidance and, where necessary, the underlying legislation and official calculator. Any correction is applied to the explanation and its boundary tests together. The methodology page is the place to report a calculation issue.
